A legal disclaimer
Retainer and payment
A non-refundable retainer is required to book and hold the date and time for your photography session. This retainer compensates for lost business due to the reservation and administrative time spent on your booking. The full remaining payment for the session is due at the time of your booked session.
Cancellations and rescheduling

Cancellation 24 hours or more in advance: If you cancel your session at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time, the full retainer will be refunded.

Cancellation less than 24 hours in advance: If you cancel less than 24 hours prior to your session, the retainer will not be refunded.

Rescheduling: One complimentary reschedule is allowed if requested at least 24 hours before your session. A new date will be scheduled based on the photographer's availability.

No-shows: If you do not show up for your scheduled session, the retainer will be forfeited and all payments made will not be refunded.
Post-session dissatisfaction

Prior to receiving edited digital images: If you are dissatisfied with your images or experience before the edited digital images are delivered, you may request a refund of 50% of your total payment.

Reshoot option: In lieu of a partial refund, you may request a one-time reshoot. If a reshoot is chosen, no refund will be issued, and the session will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed-upon time and location.

After receiving edited digital images: Due to the custom, digital nature of the products and the work involved, no refunds will be issued once the edited digital images have been delivered to you.
Process for requesting a refund or reshoot
All requests for refunds or reshoots must be made in writing via email. The request must include the reason for dissatisfaction and be submitted promptly after the session. The photographer will review the request and respond within a reasonable timeframe.

This policy is designed to protect both the client and the photographer. By booking a session and making a payment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.
